I was behind a guy the other day who was smoking a cigarette, talking on the
phone, and attempting to drive all at once. I don't know how he was doing
the other two things, but he was driving very badly. I'm going to join the

I generally wear a baseball cap while driving. In fact, I generally wear
a baseball cap - or hat of some description - at all times when not
indoors. In the case of driving, it keeps the sun out of my eyes.

I also have a headset for my mobile, so I keep my hands available.

ah, good for you. From the brief time I've been on this group I'm
fairly confident you keep your brain available as well. Though there
are others on the road who are not as considerate... ...or perhaps as
brainy?!

One of the mobile phone companies has been offering free lobotomies with
all new phones. At least that is the only reasonable conclusion I've been
able to draw from the observable evidence.

Yeah, I try. No faster than is safe, regardless of speed limits, letting
people pass when necessary, stuff like that. You know, the obvious stuff
that they clearly teach people *not* to do these days. ;-)
